Design Highlights & Challenges:
- New school designed for historic Union-Miles neighborhood
- Flexibly planned as three (3) self-supporting academies or as 9-12th grade general high school
- Media center designed as community space
- All classrooms have natural light and auditory enhancement devices; studies prove this increases learning aptitude in students
- Every classroom wired for technology with LCD projectors, computers and telephones
- Athletic complex, including 5,000 seat stadium, also planned for site
